On September 22, 2026, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of MeiraGTx Holdings plc (the “Company”), upon the recommendation of its Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, appointed Alan M. Sebulsky to the Board as a Class I director, effective September 23, 2026, with a term that expires at the Company’s 2028 annual meeting of shareholders when Class I directors are up for re-election and until his successor is duly elected and qualified. Mr. Sebulsky has been appointed to serve as a member of the Science and Technology Committee. Mr. Sebulsky was recommended as a potential candidate for election to our Board by the Company’s senior management.
Mr. Sebulsky has served as the Managing Member of Apothecary Capital LLC since its reestablishment in April 2026. Mr. Sebulsky previously served as a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Adage Capital Management, LP. from July 2012 to April 2026, where he was responsible for managing a biopharmaceutical portfolio. Prior to that Mr. Sebulsky served as a Portfolio Manager at BBT Capital Management Advisory LLC from April 2003 to March 2012, through his role as the Managing Partner of Apothecary Capital LLC over the same period. From 1994 to 2002, Mr. Sebulsky held various positions, including as a Managing Director at Lincoln Capital Management, a private investment management firm, where he was responsible for investments in the healthcare industry. Mr. Sebulsky currently serves as a member of the board of directors of Parabilis Medicines, Inc and previously served on the boards of directors of Jazz Pharmaceuticals PLC and Arrow International, Inc. Mr. Sebulsky received a B.B.A. in finance and economics and an M.S. in finance from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Mr. Sebulsky will be eligible to receive compensation for his service as a member of the Board pursuant to the terms of the Company’s Non-Employee Director Compensation Program, as amended from time to time.
We expect that Mr. Sebulsky will enter into the Company’s standard form of indemnification agreement for its directors and officers. Mr. Sebulsky was not selected as a director pursuant to any arrangement or understanding between him and any other person. There are no related party transactions between the Company and Mr. Sebulsky.

MeiraGTx Appoints Accomplished Healthcare Portfolio Manager Alan M. Sebulsky to Board of Directors
LONDON and NEW YORK, September 23, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MeiraGTx Holdings plc (NASDAQ: MGTX), a vertically integrated, clinical stage genetic medicines company, today announced the appointment of Alan M. Sebulsky to its Board of Directors.
Mr. Sebulsky is a veteran healthcare portfolio manager and biopharmaceutical investment analyst with more than 40 years of experience in public company investment, financial strategy, portfolio evaluation and growth, and board leadership. Mr. Sebulsky most recently served as Partner and Portfolio Manager at Adage Capital Management for the past 14 years, where he led a team overseeing a diversified biopharmaceutical portfolio with over $2 billion in assets. Prior to this, he founded Apothecary Capital, an asset management firm focused on investments across the healthcare and biopharmaceutical sectors. He reestablished Apothecary in April 2026 and currently serves as the Managing Member.
Mr. Sebulsky currently serves on the Board of Directors of Parabilis Medicines, Inc. and previously served on the Boards of Directors and Audit Committees for both Jazz Pharmaceuticals and Arrow International, two publicly traded healthcare companies, and on the boards of three private healthcare companies in which Apothecary Capital invested. In these roles, he worked closely with company leadership to advance portfolio, commercial and business strategy.
Mr. Sebulsky holds an M.S. in finance and a B.B.A. in finance and economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
